Ray H. Grawunder Sr. Ray H. Grawunder Sr., 79, of Overland, and a former resident of St. Charles County, died Friday (June 15, 2001) at National Healthcare in St. Louis. Mr. Grawunder was a retired engineer from McDonnell Douglas Corp., now Boeing Co., where he had worked for 25 years. He was an assistant commissioner of the Boy Scouts of America; Boy Scout leader in Overland; was a member of the PTA; the Toastmasters and the Masonic Lodge. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service today at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Baue. Burial will be at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, 3950 West Clay Street. Among the survivors are his wife, Mary Alice Grawunder of Overland; two daughters, Susan E. Long of Wildwood and Marcia V. Hansen of Creve Coeur; two sons, Ray H. Grawunder of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mark B. Grawunder of Overland; and three grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made to the Boy Scouts of America of Overland in care of Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, Mo. 63301.
