Dora Lee Meeks

Dora Lee Meeks, 85, long time resident of Phoenix, passed away May 26th in Williamsburg, VA.  She is remembered as a kind and gentle lady, an avid bridge player, a girl scout leader and elementary school secretary.  Mrs. Meeks was preceded in death by her husband F.B. (Red) Meeks and her younger son, Andy Meeks.  She is survived her other son Bill Meeks and his wife, Joann of Williamsburg, VA; and four grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 2, 2001 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1407 N. 2nd St., Phoenix, AZ 85004.  Family requests memorials be made to The First Congregational United Church of Christ.
