Floyd Bryan Womack Southern Standard, March 28, 2001
McMinnville resident and Warren County native Floyd Bryan Womack, 88, died March 27 at River Park Hospital after a two-day illness. A retired produce manager at H.G. Hills and a member of East End Church of Christ, he was the son of Harrell Alvin and Callie McGinnis Womack; and was preceded in death by his first wife, Mattie Elrod Womack in 1973, and second wife, Crystal Louise Womack in 1997. He is survived by daughter and son-law, Melba and Bernie Hillis of McMinnville; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Pat Womack and Harold Womack, all of Nashville, Tom and Marie Womack of Melbourne, Fla., Glynn and Louise Womack, Lynn and Shirley Womack, all of McMinnville; sister, Dora Mullican of McMinnville; brother, James Womack of Rock Island; stepdaughters, Barbara Turner and Frances West, both of McMinnville; stepsons, James and Carl Jones, both of Rock Island and Fred Jones of St. Louis, Mo.; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at High's Chapel with Jim Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High's. Memorial donations may be made to East End Church of Christ or the charity of your choice.
