BRIDGMAN -- Carl R. Bundesman, 77, of Bridgman passed away Saturday, May 11, 2002, at Orchard Grove Extended Care Center, Benton Harbor.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodland Shores Baptist Church, with the Rev. Winston Decker officiating.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.  Friends may meet with the family from 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Shores Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.  "Share a Memory" with the family at www.BoydFuneral.com.

Mr. Bundesman was born Dec. 11, 1924, in Moberly, Mo., the son of the late Carl R. and Goldie Bundesman Sr.  He was a member of Woodland Shores Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, where he served as a Paratrooper.

On Oct. 18, 1952, he married Carlene Pinkston.  She survives him, along with two daughters -- Sherry Barbour of South Bend, Ind., and Denise Bundesman of Vickery, Ohio; a son, Barry (Julie) Bundesman of Mishawaka, Ind.; two grandsons -- Charles (Tami) Barbour and Matthew Bundesman; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Barbour; and a sister, Alene Waddington of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

The family is being served by Boyd Funeral Home, a Kraig A. Pike Family Service, Bridgman.
