Millie M. Cudd Hannah Daily Ardmoreite, The, November 21, 2002
• WILSON -- Services for Millie Marie Cudd Hannah, 81, Ardmore, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Alexander Funeral Home chapel with Connie Hannah officiating. Interment will be at Bomar Point Cemetery. Born March 16, 1921, on the Cudd farm west of Wilson to the late James Buckley Cudd and Pearl Ingram Cudd. She died Nov. 17, 2002, at the home of her daughter in Golden, Colo. The youngest girl of 16 brothers and sisters, Millie attended Zaneis consolidated schools and married Roy Morris Hannah on Nov. 8, 1937, in Carter County. To this union, two children were born, a son, Roy Michael Hannah, and a daughter, Connie Hannah. Millie and Roy had been married 64 years when he preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2002. Due to her husband's ministry, which began in 1949 in Ringling, they lived in several towns in Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming before returning to Ardmore a number of years ago. Millie spent the last few months of her life being cared for by her loving daughter in the Colorado Rockies, which she loved very much. She is survived by her daughter, Connie; a son, Roy Hannah, and his wife, Deanna, Bethany; her granddaughter, Holly Bergbower, and her husband, Chanc, and a great-grandson, Finn Bergbower, all of Stillwater; a sister, Estella "Bill" Claxton, Norman; and two brothers, Clarence L. Cudd, Edmond, and J.B. Cudd, Gainesville, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father, James Buckley Cudd, on Dec. 1, 1948; her mother, Pearl L. Cudd, on Dec. 19, 1967; five brothers, Eddie, Coy, Jesse, Thomas and A.B.; and seven sisters, Myrtle, Maggie, Celesta, Sparkle, Inez, Carrra Lou and Isola. Nephews will serve as bearers.
