AMY MILLET HARDIN

Amy Heather Millett Hardin, age 29, of Norris City, formerly of Mattoon, was taken from us suddenly along with two of her three precious children on Monday, February 11, 2002, due to injuries sustained in a semi-trailer/car accident near Carmi, Illinois.

Memorial services celebrating her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Schilling Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert C. Clark officiating, assisted by the Reverend Randy Plunkett.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cooks Mills.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday morning at the funeral home.

Amy was born January 15, 1973, in Mattoon, a daughter of Bob and Donna Bareither Millett.  She married Andrew Hardin on June 20, 1997. He survives.

Other survivors include her daughter, Heather Laura Hardin of Norris City; her parents, Donna MilIett of Mattoon and Bob and Pam Millett of Canyon, Texas; one brother, "J.R." Millett and his daughter Shyann; her grandfather, James Bareither of Mattoon, father-in-law, King Hardin of Naperville; and she also leaves aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Edith "Doll" Bareither; her aunt, Jackie Bareither; and her mother-in-law, Janet Hardin.

Everyone who knew her felt she was a walking angel on earth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heather Hardin Fund c/o FirStar Bank of Mattoon.
