DAKOTA JAMES HARDIN

Dakota James Edwards Hardin, age 7, of Norris City, formerly of Mattoon, was taken from us suddenly along with his mother and his sister on Monday, February 11, 2002, due to injuries sustained in a semi-trailer/car accident near Carmi, Illinois.

Memorial services celebrating his life will begin at 11:00 am. on Wednesday at the Schilling Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert C. Clark officiating, assisted by the Reverend Randy Plunkett. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cooks Mills. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday morning at the funeral home.

Dak was born December 9, 1994, in Mattoon.

Survivors include his father and sister, Andrew Hardin and Heather of Norris City; his grandparents, Donna Millett of Mattoon and Bob and Pam Millett of Canyon, Texas, King Hardin of Naperville; his uncle, "J.R." Millett and his cousin, Shyann; his great-grandfather, James Bareither of Mattoon, and he also leaves lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Edith "Doll" Bareither; his great-aunt, Jackie Bareither; and his grandmother, Janet Hardin.

Our little angel is in heaven with his sister and mommy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heather Hardin Fund c/o FirStar Bank of Mattoon.
