Paul Vernon Owen, born January 18, 1925 in Rockwell City, Iowa; died March 17, 2002.  Preceded in death by daughter, Christine and grandson, Jeffrey David.  Survived by Charlene, his loving wife of 54 years; son, Gene N. (Sandee) Owen of California; daughter, Pauline (Ivan) Lanum of Tucson; stepbrother, Robert (Irene) Onnen of Iowa; Kearney grandchildren, Dennis and James (Veronica); Lanum grandchildren Shawn, Christopher (Janice), Dione, Jacinda, and Jessica; Owen grandchildren, Paul Eugene, William Siebert, and Jerry Jay.  In addition, Mr. Owen was blessed with seven great-grandchildren whom he dearly loved and enjoyed.  Mr. Owen moved to Arizona in 1945 and was employed at Grand Central Aircraft, Packard Bell Electronics, and in 1987, retired from Farmer Brothers Coffee with twenty-five years of service.  He was an active member of Broadway Christian Church for forty years.  Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Broadway Christian Church, 4741 E. Broadway, Tucson, AZ.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Owen’s name to Carondelet or TMC Hospice or to Broadway Christian Church “Camp Scholarship Fund”.  Interment was held on Tuesday, March 19, 2002.
