WHITTAKER -- Whittaker Walt Jesse Whittaker Jr., 81, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2002 at his home in Magdalena, NM.  He was a resident of Magdalena since 1997.  He was born August 23, 1921 to Walter J. and Ella (Israel) Whittaker in Ft. Smith, AR.  He is survived by his wife, Mary B. (Scott) Whittaker of their home; son, W. Scott Whittaker of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter, Crystal D. McClernon of Albuquerque; grandsons, Kyle and Thomas Whittaker.  Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be at a later date.  The family asked that in lieu of flowers, any donations be made to Casa Esperanza, 1005 Yale NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 (505-277-9880).  Cremation arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
