Mary Martha Bachelder

    Mary Martha Marty Bachelder, 87, formerly of Linn Street Manor, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Berkshire Center, Reading.  Born Dec. 7, 1915, in Milton, she was the daughter of Jacob A. and Araminta E. Lucas Nick.

    She was a member of Newberry Church of Christ.

    She retired after 17 years as a waitress at the former Marks Restaurant in South Williamsport.

    Surviving are brother, John Nick of Rochester; 13 nieces; and nine nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Bachelder, who died April 29, 1980.

    Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday, 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Ronald D. Savits officiating.  Friends may call at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.  Interment in Montoursville Cemetery.
