TRENT -- Jim Canady, 53, formerly of Trent, died Tuesday, January 21, 2003 in a Montgomery, Alabama hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel in Merkel with Curt Hook and Larry Gill officiating. Burial will be in the Trent Cemetery. Jim graduated from Trent High School in 1967. He worked for Texas Instruments about fifteen years. He was self-employed in the gaming industry. Survivors include his mother, Louise Canady of Trent; a son, James Eric Canady of McKinney; a sister, Kayla Anders and husband, Donnie of Abilene; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Canady and a sister, Barbara Jean Martin. Memorials may be made to the Hendrick Hospice Care, P.O. Box 1922, Abilene, Texas 79604.
