Gerald L. Earnhart Fort Worth Star-Telegram, January 5, 2003 Obituaries
ARLINGTON -- Gerald "Jerry" L. Earnhart, 62, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at the Vitas Hospice House, following a lengthy illness. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Jerry was born Nov. 5, 1940, in San Diego, Calif., to Edgar and Rachel Earnhart. He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1959. He then attended Tarleton State University and the University of Texas at Arlington. Jerry enjoyed playing golf. He loved people and life. He will be dearly missed. Survivors: Wife of 24 years, Bea; mother, Rachel McMahon; sister, Karen Smith; brother, Lewis Earnhart; seven children; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
