Rachael Kaline Emfinger Rachael Kaline Emfinger, age 32, of Springfield, passed away in her sleep Wednesday, January 29, 2003. She is now with her Lord and Savior. She was born December 11, 1970 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of John W. Emfinger Sr. and JoAnn McGowan. Rachael worked at the Wal-Mart Supercenter South in Springfield as a sales associate. She never knew a stranger, loved everyone and always had a smile. She was a member of Dayspring Christian Fellowship. Survivors include her father, John W. Emfinger Sr. and wife, Nell; a brother, John Emfinger Jr. and wife Deloris; two sisters, Gretchen Gardner and husband Mark, and Charis Lippert and husband Peter, all of Nixa; nephews and nieces, Justin Emfinger, Elizabeth and Joshua Gardner, and Ethan and Aaron Lippert; grandfathers, Norman Emfinger and wife Eveyln, Littlefield, Texas, and Walter E. McGowan and wife Jean, Dallas, Texas; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends including those from work and from her church. She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn McGowan and grandmothers, Ruby Emfinger and Nellie McGowan. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Steve Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Glenn Cemetery, south of Nixa. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Springfield News Leader, January 31, 2003. =====
