Ruth W. Jones, 78, formerly of Wilsonville died Oct. 24, 2003, at a local hospital.  She was born in 1924 in Wilsonville and was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Jones Sr., and a daughter, Nancy Ford.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Turnipseed of Helena; her son, Len Jones of Birmingham; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Graveside service was Oct. 27 at Pinelawn Gardens, the Rev. Jimmy Earnest presiding and Bolton Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
