Harry Glenn Perkins, 50

PERKINS, HARRY GLENN age 50, of Pleasant Grove, AL passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2003.  He was a member and Deacon at Bethel Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove, and employed for 27 years with United Parcel Service.

He is survived by his loving family, which includes his wife, Carol; his parents, Amos and Peggy Perkins of Minor; daughters, Jeannie Wolfe (Chris), Jamie Burchfield (Shawn), and Jackie Cannon (Tommye), and a brother, Ronnie Perkins.  Grandchildren are Alex and Tyler Wolfe and Sydney Burchfield.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 26, 2003 at the Bethel Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Forest Grove Cemetery.  Dr. Larry Gipson officiating.  Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Bethel Baptist Church.  Mr. Perkins will lie in state at the church one hour before funeral time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Bethel Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove building fund.
