COMANCHE -- T.J. Tupin; 67; of Comanche; died Tuesday; Sept. 23; 2003; at Kindred Hospital Southwest; in Fort Worth. Graveside services are scheduled for 11a.m. Thursday; Sept.25; 2003; in the Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche; with the Rev. Bill Ellis officiating. Interment will follow with Comanche Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the Comanche Funeral Home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Mr. Tupin was born on April 13; 1936; in Comanche County; the son of Jay Tupin and Eunice (Mathis) Tupin. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ann Swinney; on April17; 1954; in Brownwood. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of the Comanche Sheriff’s Posse as well as the Comanche Comancheros. He was a Baptist. He is survived by: wife; Elizabeth Ann Tupin; of Comanche; sons; Terry Tupin; of Comanche; Gary Tupin and wife; Stephanie; of Goldthwaite; daughter; Linda Runnels and husband; James; of Comanche; mother; EuniceTupin; of Comanche; sister; Nelda Smith; of Comanche.
