McMinnville resident and Warren County native Clarence Daniel Holt, 61, died Nov. 28 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro after an extended illness.

A nurseryman, he was the son of the late James David and Ida Annie Morton Holt.

He is survived by sons, Daniel Lee Holt of McMinnville and Wesley David Holt of Ohio; daughters, Rhonda Renee Holt of McMinnville, Robin Elaine Holt and Brandy Wynette Brock, both of Rock Island; life companion, Lana Marie Price of McMinnville; stepdaughter, Andrea Jo Holt of McMinnville; stepsons, Brian Lee Smith of Ohio and Richard Lonzo Smith of Alabama; 16 grandchildren; brothers, Morris Holt and Clayton Holt, both of McMinnville; and sisters, Sadie Evelyn Roark, Inez Burch, Gail Neal, Louise Duggin and Ara Dell Jones, all of McMinnville, and Ponzelle Ursury of Spencer.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at High's Chapel with burial following at Grace Chapel Cemetery in Grundy County.  Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service today at High's.

High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
