Michael Horton

Michael Leroy Horton, 52, Kansas City, Mo. died at Truman Medial Center in Kansas City.

Mr. Horton was born Jan 29 1952, in Alameda County, Calif., the son of Noman F. Horton, Sr. and Flossie J. (Haggard) Horton.  He was a concrete specialist for Bob Bell Construction in Raytown.

Survivors include two daughters, Tisha Horton, Liberty, and Andrea Horton, Warensburg; three brothers, Daniel "Mark" Horton, Excelsier Springs, Norman "Buddy" Horton, Dewar, Okla; and James "Dickie" Horton, Woodby Island, Wash.; one sister, Barbara Kaler, Dewar, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs; burial at Polley Cemetery.  The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday Feb. 16, at the family home, while the body lay in state at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Horton Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
