Raymond A. Potter of Burlington Twp., died Monday, December 6, 2004 at his residence at the age of 78.

Born in Glens Falls, NY.  He had served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1950 and in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1953.  Mr. Potter worked as an audit manager for the U.S. Dept. of Transportation until retiring in 1987 at the age of 51.  He enjoyed classical music especially marches and he also enjoyed being outdoors and working on his home and on his car.

He is survived by his wife, LaDonna G. (nee Cunningham), his daughters and son-in-law, Terry and Jimmy Connell, of Carlisle, PA and Lynn Painter of Riverside, NJ, and his six grandchildren, Sean, Christine, Jessica, Jeremy, David and Jesse, his four great grandchildren, Brett, Zachary, Kristen and Ian, his sisters and brother-in-law, Diane and Roger Del-Signore, of Glens Falls, NY and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the PAGE FUNERAL HOME, 302 E. Union St., Burlington.  Friends may also call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 to 2 PM.
