Grace Floella Self

Graveside services for Grace Floella Self, 84, of Blanket will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Fair Lawn Cemetery in Comanche, Okla.  Interment will follow under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home in Comanche, Texas.

Mrs. Self died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at her home in Blanket.

She was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Burkburnett to John D. Atchley and Lenora Bullard Atchley.  She was married to Famon Granville Self in 1939 in Ringling, Okla.  He preceded her in death on July 2, 1989.

She is survived by a son, James Self and wife Linda of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Donna K. Vestel of Blanket; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bob Riley of Denver, J.D. Atchley of Early and Leonard Atchley of Midland; and many nieces and nephews.
