Paul R. Stambaugh Sun-Sentinel - (Sep/24/2004) Paul R. Stambaugh Stambaugh, Paul R., 87, went home to be with the Lord in the pre-dawn of Tuesday, September 21, 2004. He was preceded in death in 1990, by his wife of 48 years, Maribel Holland, who assisted him in real estate and home building in Paducah, KY. A native of Covington, KY, Mr. Stambaugh was also preceded in death by his four siblings. He trained as a cadet in the Army/Air Force at Yale University and was a staff sergeant during World War II, serving both at home and abroad. He was a founder of the Paducah Board of Realtors in 1953 and an officer in the Kentucky Home Builders Association. Mr. Stambaugh has been a Ft. Lauderdale resident since 1975. He is survived by two daughters, Ann (Don) Murphy and Jane (Bill) Davell, of Ft. Lauderdale, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
