William Earl Ledbetter Sr.

MADISONVILLE - Services for William Earl Ledbetter Sr., 74, of Grapeland are set for 3 p.m. Tuesday at J.M. Day Funeral Home in Madisonville.

The Rev. Charles Wigley will officiate.  Private burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ledbetter died Saturday in Conroe.

He was born in Normangee and was retired from the U.S. Air Force.  He was a Baptist and was a Mason in Augusta.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Carol Dean Ledbetter and Suzanne Walker Ledbetter; and a son, Michael Ledbetter.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, William Earl Jr. and Ronda Ledbetter of Buffalo and Mark Anthony Ledbetter of Houston; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and James Walker of Willis; two sisters, Berta Rae Plotts and Blondie Martin; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
