Eric D. McDonald

Eric died Friday in the Anaconda hospital. He was born on March 14, 1967, in Orange County, Calif., to Patrick Dwayne and Shirlee "Lee" M. (Smith) McDonald. He served three years in the Army. On Sept. 18, 1990, Eric married Chandra Nicholes in Mesa, Ariz. In 1991, they moved to Deer Lodge Valley, where Eric worked on the Nicholes farm. Eric also worked for Montana Power Co. doing energy efficiency inspections in households. Chandra and Eric had a son, Colton, before they divorced in 1996. Eric married Terry Kincaid on March 15, 1997, in Scottsdale, Ariz. They divorced in 2003. Eric returned to Anaconda to be closer to his son, Colton. Survivors include his son Colton, Anaconda; father, Pat (Patty) McDonald, Louisville, Ky., mother, Lee (Reid) McCollium, Mesa, Ariz.; brothers, Jonathan Hine of Telluride, Colo., Jeff Hine of Idaho State, and Kurtis McDonald of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; sister, Danielle McDonald of Dillon, Colo.; nieces including Kera McDonald and Cydrea Nicholes; and nephews including Austin McMichael. Memorials: Trust fund for Colton at Southwest Credit Union of Anaconda. |

Services
for Eric Dwayne McDonald are 1 p.m. Friday in KT Riddle Funeral Homes,
Anaconda. Burial follows in New Hill Cemetery, with military honors.
Visitation runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at 9 a.m. Friday.
