Sharon S. Greer Miller
Sharon Sue Miller, 60, died Oct. 21, 2005, in Bloomfield, Mo. She was born June 3, 1945, in St. Louis, Mo., daughter of the late Francis and Theresa Greer. She was united in marriage to Marvin "Sonny" Miller June 22, 1963, in East St. Louis, Ill., and he survives, residing in Bloomfield. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Sherryl Miller, William Miller, Bloomfield, Julie Miller, West Salem, Ohio, Marvin Miller Jr., Boliver, Michelle Miller, Buffalo, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; many brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Miller, one sister, Janice Greer, and one grandchild, Vanessa Miller. The funeral was held Oct. 24 at Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel, Piedmont, with Rev. John Adams officiating. A song was sung by Mrs. Miller's grandchildren. Pallbearers were Chris, Jeff and Tyler Miller, Joshua Moore, Charlie Counts, Glen David Miller and Tom Smith. The Daily Statesman, November 9, 2005 Sharon Sue Miller Sharon Sue Miller was born June 3, 1945, in St. Louis, the daughter of Francis and Theresa Greer, and died Oct. 21, 2005, at Bloomfield at the age of 60. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She married Marvin "Sonny" Miller on June 22, 1963, at East St. Louis, Ill., and they had made their home in Bloomfield for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gerald Miller; one sister, Janice Greer; and one grandchild. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Marvin Miller of Bloomfield; five children, Sherryl Miller and William Miller, both of Bloomfield, Julie Miller, West Salem, Ohio, Marvin Miller, Jr. of Boliver, and Michelle Miller of Buffalo; 10 grandchildren; and many brothers. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at the Morrison-Worley Chapel in Piedmont with Rev. John Adams officiating. Services were under the direction of Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel of Piedmont. |
