Robert E. Miner, 83, of San Diego died Tuesday.  He was born in Babylon, N.Y., and was a utilities manager for the city of San Diego.

He served in the Navy during World War II and was a Pearl Harbor survivor.

Survivors include his wife, Mimi Miner; daughter, Lisa McDaniels of San Diego; son, David Miner of Hansville, Wash.; brother, Ralph Miner of Bellingham, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

Services: private.
