DERBY Springer, Justin W., 34, customer support manager at Raytheon, passed away Jan. 29, 2005. Visitation 1 to 8 p.m. Tues. at Smith Mortuary, Derby; funeral 10 a.m. Wed., Feb. 2, at First Christian Church, Derby; burial will follow in Mulvane Cemetery. Justin was born on July 30, 1970 the son of Jimmie Laird Springer and Caroline June Wedel. On June 8, 1996 he married Carlita Kathryn Menzie in Lafayette, IN. Survivors: wife, Carlita, Derby; their 18 month old daughter, Danielle Rose, of the home; parents, Jimmie & Debbie Springer, Mulvane, Caroline & Bill Lupton, Wichita; brothers, James and wife, Becky Springer, Wichita, Adam and wife, Jill Springer, Andover; sister, Jennifer Hurtt, Wichita; 2 nieces; 3 nephews; step-brothers, Daniel Embrey, Wichita, Jason and wife, Leanna Lupton, Wichita; step-sister, Andrea and husband, Ralph Johnson, Oxford; mother and father-in-law, Edward & Kathryn Menzie, Lafayette, IN; brother-in-law, Dustin Menzie, Derby; sister-in-law, Torie Menzie, Lafayette, IN. Justin was preceded in death by a step-brother, Jason Embrey. A memorial has been established for his daughter, Danielle Rose Springer Trust Fund, in care of the Valley State Bank.
