Visitation: Monday, Oct. 23, 2006 Funeral Mass: Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 Cemetery: St. Teresa's Cemetery Mr. Casper , age 77, died on October 19, 2006 at the VA Hospital, San Francisco, CA. Friends and relatives are invited to go directly to the Funeral Mass which will be held in Our Lady of Peace Church, New Providence, NJ on Saturday at 10:00 am. followed by interment in St. Teresas Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements by Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial 7 Summit Ave. Summit, NJ John was born in Scranton, PA and resided in Irvington, New Providence for 40 years, Norwich, NY and most recently in Richmond, CA. He held a BS from Newark College of Engineering, LLB and JD degrees from New York Law School. He was a patent attorney for Air Reduction, Murray Hill, NJ for 12 years, retiring in 1972. He also worked for the NJ State Utilities Commission. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by a brother, Edward, and sisters; Lucille Smolik, Jo Ann Schulz and Mary Ann Toriello and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to the charity of your choice. John should be remembered for his quest to enlighten all who met him of their constitutional rights and obligations as a citizen of our great country and his genuine love of people. His great sense of humor is demonstrated in wanting to be known by his artist signature on his abstract paintings: Pintaius-warrior who carries the war lance.
