Carolyn Gail Lewis "Carol" April 21, 1943 - June 5, 2006 Resident of Concord A lifelong East Bay native and a Concord resident, Carol Lewis passed away at age 63. She attended Mt. Diablo High School where she met Ben Lewis, her high school sweetheart. Carol doted on her children and grandchildren, was an avid reader and loved to shop, especially for shoes. Carol is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ben; daughters, Danette Whipple and April Lewis; grandchildren, Justin and Kacie Lewis and Chelsie Whipple; siblings, Charles, Paul, Gary, Jerry, Richard, Larry, Lorraine and Linda. She is also survived by many loving friends. Carol was predeceased by parents Elbern and Lorrine Farmer, and brother Glenn. A visitation will be held Friday, June 9, 2006 from 10-12 a.m. with a funeral service at noon. All services at Ouimet Bros. Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord.
