YAKIMA - Della Duncan (Burkett) was born in Wapato Washington on July 21st, 1917.  She passed away on July 3rd, 2007 after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Bessie Burkett; brother Kenneth Burkett; sister Ruby Mclean; husband Harry Duncan and 22 yr. companion Ed Burnett. She is survived by her brother Lester Burkett; son and daughter in law Dennis and Dixie Duncan, son and daughter in law Daryl and Linda Duncan, daughter and son in law Margo and Daryl Hill; eleven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters.

She loved to hike and camp in the mountains with her family and friends. She also loved to travel and engage in her hobby taking pictures of unique and picturesque churches.

Thanks to all the staff at Cedar Hills who took very good care of her throughout her illness. Mom, God bless you and may you rest in peace.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2007 at West Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.
