Deborah Ann (Burkett) Georgia

Deborah Ann (Burkett) Georgia passed from this life on May 2, 2007.  She was the second daughter of Jake B. Burkett and Vivian Rose (Neill) Burkett.  She was born in Goldthwaite, TX on Jan. 23, 1951.  She married Tom Georgia of Shinglehouse, PA on March 11, 1972.  They have one son, David Georgia of Olean, NY and one granddaughter, Lily Ann Georgia also of Olean.  Deborah worked as a nurse for many years but had been in poor health since 2002.  She will be missed by all who had the privilege of calling her “friend”.  Deb requested that she be cremated and her ashes scattered over the graves of her father and mother in the Oakview Cemetery in Mullin, TX.

Deb is survived by her husband, Tom Georgia, son, David Georgia, granddaughter, Lily Ann Georgia, sister, Sharon Fleming of Athens, TX, brother, Joe Pat Burkett, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and relatives.
