McMinnville resident and Madison County, Ala., native Jollyn Ann Jones, 64, was born June 10, 1942 and died March 11 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following a sudden illness.

A retired employee of the state of Tennessee Child Support Division and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late William Noah and Nora Elizabeth Grimmett Locke.  She was married Aug. 23, 1958 to Joe Donald Jones of McMinnville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Gregory Joe Jones of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Terian Turner of McMinnville and River and Lakelyn Jones, both of Sparta; sister, Marie Hennessee of Athens, Ala.; two aunts, Eloise Ganey of Madison, Ala., and Ethel Morton of Forest City, N.C.; several nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Billy L. and Gloria Jones of McMinnville.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in High’s Chapel with Richard Jenkins and Jerry Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.  Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service today at High’s.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church Library or the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women program.
