Jonesboro Sun, The - (Feb/2/2007)

Aline E. Wadlington

TRUMANN -- Mrs. Aline E. Wadlington, 88, of Trumann died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Moberly, Mo., she had lived in Trumann for the past 40 years and was formerly of Indiana.  She was a homemaker, and everyone will remember our mother as a sweet, kind and nice person, but to her children and family, she is our greatest treasure in life.

She shared her love between her children, asking only that her children love one another, as she loved us all.  She shared her gentle love with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren for she loved each and every one of them.  Our mother was so caring and loving, and her love for her family, is one of the greatest gifts she gave to each and every one.

We all have our happy memories of our mother, but nothing can replace the greatest treasure we have lost.  As you watch over us from Heaven, Mother, know that we will always love you, remember that our love will never end, and you will live forever in our hearts.

Mrs. Wadlington was a member of the Senior Citizen Group and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Trumann.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Earl Yeakey; second husband, Lloyd Wadlington; daughter, Helen Louise Yeakey; two daughters-in-law, Susie Yeakey and Judy Yeakey; four sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by a four daughters, Barbara Yeakey of Portage, Ind., Mary Miller Owen, Priscilla Ann Horton and husband Robert and Linda Coleman and Jack all of Trumann; five sons, Donald Yeakey and wife Karen of Michigan City, Ind., Junior Yeakey of Trumann, Charles Yeakey of San Pierre, Ind., Ernest Yeakey and wife Marie of Santa Marie, Calif., and Frankie Yeakey of Trumann; 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with the Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating.  Burial will be Tuesday at Springfield Cemetery in Springville, Ind.

Visitation will be this evening from 5-7 at Thompson Funeral Home.
