Stella Wilson

Madras resident Stella Mae Wilson died March 16, 2007, at Mountain View Hospital at the age of 82.

Mrs. Wilson was born Jan. 10, 1925, in Norman, Okla., to parents Harvey and Lucy Jane (Brown) Wilson.  She married Jimmy Richard Davis.  He preceded her in death and she took her maiden name back.

She had lived in Madras for many years and in the summer time had worked in the fields and in the winter at the Metolius potato shed.  She loved being with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Pack of Madras, Betty Dosier of Redmond, Judy Smith of Portland; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie Lee and Donna Owens of Port Orford, Ore.; grandchildren, James (and Virginia) Owens, David (Tina) Owens, John (Kim) Owens, Dena (Sean) Wells, Rick Smith, Anthony Smith, James Smith, Angela Reynoso, Leanna Pierce, Belinda Bettencourt, Franklin Dosier, Christy Davidson, Julie Jussop, Janie Davis and Jenny O'Neal Haley; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob, Andrew, Antonio, Tatiana, Tyrell, Natale, Aneta, Jennifer, Jackie, Breanna, Jennifer, Billy, Jeremy, Amanda, Amy, Sturman, and Stephanie; great-great-grandchildren, Justine, Skyla, and Lauren; and step-great-grandchildren, Kayla and Tyler.

A family gathering was held March 18, at Bel-Air Colonial Chapel.  Burial was a Lakewood Memorial Park in Modesto, Calif.  Arrangements were under the direction of Bel-Air Colonial Funeral Home in Madras.
