Obituary

Ms. Rebecca Dianne Metzler, age 27 of Griffin passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Cobb Wellstar Hospital.

Ms. Metzler was born April 1, 1951 in Bessemer, AL, daughter of the late Cecil Patterson and the late Desser Armstrong Patterson.  She attended Landmark Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Metler; brother, Alfred Patterson and sisters, Geneva Parker and Patricia Calhoun.

Survivors include sisters, Janice Bowlin, Dallas, GA, Caroline Ludolf of Clanton, AL; brothers, Robert Patterson of Bessmer, Al, Jerry Patterson of Oregon and Bruce Patterson of Clanton, AL.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Ms. Rebecca Dianne Metzler will be held today at 11:00 a.m. in the Warren Haisten Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Thomas Blagg and Rev. Travis Bowlin will officiate.  Interment will follow at Westwood Gardens.
