Larry G. Tinsley News & Observer, The, December 7, 2008
RALEIGH -- Larry G. Tinsley passed away after an extended illness on Monday, November 24, 2008. Larry was born in Croswell, MI, on May 6, 1940. He had worked with Drucker and Falk, LLC for 32 and 1/2 years. He enjoyed his work, playing golf, and watching U.N.C play basketball and football. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dorothy Tinsley of Raleigh; his children, Jimmy, John, Joyce, Terri, Jeff, Jeadon, Jonnie and their spouses; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Dick Tinsley and wife, Evelyn, Warren Tinsley and wife, Vera, both of MI. He enjoyed time spent with his family and his dogs, bandit and little bit. It was Larry wish to be cremated; therefore, the family has held a private service. A remembrance service will be held for family and friends in the spring, March of 2009, prior to the carrying out of his wishes.
