Carl was a retired truck mechanic and produce driver for over 50 years.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Salinas.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty B. Toney of Salinas; daughters, Judy Ingram of Sacramento and La Wanna (Claude) Richards of Mesa, AZ; sons, Raymond (Gail) Bowman of Salinas and Lawrence (Patricia) Toney of Santa Rosa; sisters, Dee Huskof Oregon and Rose Marie Owens of Florida; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Struve & Laporte Funeral Home, 41 West San Luis Street, Salinas, CA 93901.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott Street, Salinas, CA 93901.
