Harold Edward Burt, 78, of Benton City, WA passed away October 24, 2009 at his home.  Harold was born in Grandview, WA on August 1, 1931 to Howard and Irene Burt.  As a child he attended 1st and 2nd grade in Grandview and later went to Belma in 3rd and 4th grade. 5th-12th grade he attended school in Chehalis, WA where he played football.  Harold graduated in 1950.  In 1987 he married the love of his life, Irene M. Daniels Burt.  He was in the Navy for four years and served on the USS Colonial.  Harold had worked for G.R. Kirk Co. in Chehalis, WA; and Boeing Co. in Seattle, WA; he then became a pipefitter/welder for Hanford, Exxon, Siemans and retired from Siemans in 1995.
