As you read this, Earl Stanley Gillmore is enjoying health, freedom and wonderful reunions though he passed away from us on Tuesday, February 03, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah after an extended illness and a short battle with liver cancer.  Earl was born March 27, 1953 in Republic, Washington, to Robert Lee and Janet Bebe Gillmore.  The highlight of Earl's life was being able to participate in the Sesquicentennial Wagon Train in 1997.  Through that experience he gained a love for the pioneers, an enthusiasm for history and a changed character.  He married Karen Renae Hymas Sept. 9, 1999 and their family was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Mary, born to them in 2001.

Earl is survived by his wife, Karen, and children Rachel Melton, Isaac (Rebecca) House, Jacob (Amanda) Gillmore, Brian, Charles and Mary, mother Bebe, siblings, grandchildren and many, many friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Bob and nephew Ricky.
