Linda Joy Johnson

HILLSBORO -- Linda Joy Johnson, 39, died April 28, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.  She was born March 26, 1970, in McPherson to Richard B. "Dick" and Naomi Sue Weaver Morris.  She was an insurance producer for Conrade Insurance Group Inc, Newton.

On Feb. 12, 1993, she married Ty Johnson. He survives.  Other survivors include son, Tanner Lane, daughters, Lakyn Tylin Johnson, and Lynn Taylor Johnson; her parents; sister; Paula Lynne Gann; two nephews, Chase and Colton Gann, and parents-in-law, Lee and Genie Swanson.

Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday at Canton Christian Church.  Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Olson's Mortuary, Canton.  Burial in Canton Township Cemetery.  Memorials to the Canton Christian Church or the Lehigh Fire Department.

Linda Joy Johnson, 39, of rural Hillsboro, who was employed with a Newton insurance company, died Tuesday, April 28, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at the Canton Christian Church, 111 N. Fifth St, Canton. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Olson?s Mortuary, 139 N. Main, Canton. Burial will be in the Canton Township Cemetery.

She was born March 25, 1970, to Richard and Naomi Sue (Weaver) Morris. On Feb. 12, 1993, she was married to Ty Johnson, who survives.

Other survivors include children Tanner Lane, Lakyn Tylin and Lynne Taylor, all of rural Hillsboro; parents Dick and Naomi Morris of Hillsboro; sister Paula Lynne and Steve Gann of Beggs, Okla.; parents-in-law Lee and Genie Swenson of Lindsborg and two nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Canton Christian Church or the Lehigh?Fire Department and sent in care of Olson?s Mortuary, 139 N. Main, Canton, KS 67428.
