La Rue, George P. "Jody"

Jody LaRue was born April 16, 1939 in Jerome Arizona, to Herschel Clinten LaRue and Hazel Lovilla Brown.  He took the Lord's hand and went to heaven on January 6, 2009.  George better known as "Jody" is survived by 4 children Mindi, Choyce, Richard & Danny and 2 step children Josh and Stefanie, 14 grand children.  A sister Mary and brother Jim.  Jody had 1 niece and 4 nephews.  Jody served in the Navy aboard the USS KEARSARGE.  He was a Deputy Sheriff in Mohave and Yavapai County for many years.  He worked in the family LaRue Gunite business.  Jody later went to Yavapai college and became a gun smith.  After retirement he became our Mr fix it.  He could make anything your heart could desire.  He was loved by everyone.  Jody was an outstanding member of the communities he served.  He made the world a better place for those who knew him.  The love he had in his heart was bigger then anyone knew.  You will be greatly missed and always loved!  There will be a Memorial Service at 11:AM on Saturday January 17th at the LDS Church at 3180 Rutherford Dr, Kingman, Ariz.
