MARCUS MCPIKE Oct. 15, 1973 - July 15, 2009. Marcus Wayne McPike, 35, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at his residence. Memorial services for Marcus will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Desert Memorial Chapel, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. N., with Pastor Ron Fairbairn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Survivors include his mother, Carol Ann McPike; father, Russell Ardell McPike Jr.; three brothers, Russell A. McPike III, Ronald T. McPike and Aaron M. McPike; and his ex-wife, Tracy Bruno. Marcus was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl P. Berger; grandmother, Mildred E. Berger; grandfather, Russel A. McPike Sr.; grandmother, Hester Pomeroy; and his uncle, Carl P. Berger Jr. Marcus was a native of Aurora, Ore. He was a graduate of North Marion High School, as well as a graduate of Wyotech University of Wyoming, where he was Valedictorian of his class. Marcus had several loves of his life, to list a few, would be old muscle cars, wildlife and his work. His last employer was KAG West of Las Vegas, where he was an award-winning driver. Marcus will be missed.
