Nancy Posey, 68, of Abilene, died Sunday, March 15, 2009 in an Abilene nursing home. Funeral services were held Wednesday March 18, 2009 at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Donald Clevenger officiating. Burial was in Albany Cemetery under the direction of Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home. Nancy was born August 10, 1940 in San Diego, California. She married Howard A. Posey December 11, 1982 in Santee, California. He preceded her in death in 2007. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Albany. She was a beautician and seamstress. Survivors include one daughter, Janice Campbell of Monahans, Texas; her mother, Doris Smith of Albany; three sisters, Charlotte Fay Caudel of Albany, Lynette LeAn Beard of Ramona, California and MarLana Marie Grant of El Cajon, California. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Gerlynn Head and Faith Noel Posey. Pallbearers were Bill Carrier, William Carrier, Jay Jones, Steve Sanders, Raymond Snyder and Bobby Thompson. |
