Joyce Cordray Suggs, 72, of Texarkana, TX, died Monday, December 14, 2009, at her home.  She was born May 9, 1937, in Beckville, TX.  She was a retired teacher from the Hooks ISD and was a Methodist.  She is survived by her husband, Perry Suggs; one son, Michael Suggs of Texarkana, TX; one brother, C.B. Cordray of Texarkana, TX; one granddaughter, Charlotte Suggs of Birmingham, AL; and a number of other relatives and friends.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 19, 2009, at First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, with Rev. Larry Sims officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 3015 Moores Lane, Texarkana, TX 75503.
