SYLACAUGA - Graveside service for Lynda Gayle Barnett Taylor, 62, will be Wednesday, April 22, 2 p.m. at Grimes Chapel Cemetery, Sylacauga, with the Rev. Zachary Bigley officiating. Ms. Taylor died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was a member of Grimes Chapel Baptist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors are a brother, Marlin Barnett and wife Sally of Shady Grove; daughters, Linda Ruth Bryant of Stewartville, Kathleen "Kathy" Grice and Jennifer Hayes both of Sylacauga; sons, James "Jimmy" Ivie McClellan, William Dale Perkins and Samuel Joseph "Joey" Perkins, all of Sylacauga; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com. Pallbearers will be Jimmy McClellan, Dale Perkins, Joey Perkins, Scott Nickolson, Coby Burdett, and Rocky Hunter. Marlin Barnett will serve as honorary pallbearer. Radney-Smith Funeral Home will direct the service.
