Robert Woods

WOODS, Robert Carl "Rob" Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Saturday August 8, 2009 at the age of 48 years.  Dear husband and soulmate of 24 years to Donna (nee Maynard).  Dear Dad of Katherine and Jessica Woods, both at home.  Beloved son of Lois Woods and Bruce Langlois of Kingsville, and son-in-law of Lillian Maynard of Tennessee and her late husband James (1971).  Dear brother of Judy Woods and Eugene Desko; Linda Woods; and Rick Woods and wife Leslie, all of Windsor.  Dear brother-in-law of Robert and Joyce Maynard; and Clifford and wife Brenda Maynard, all of Tennessee. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews in Canada, as well as in Tennessee.  Rob was a self-employed electrician, presently working with the Century Group.  His passions, besides his "girls" were fishing, Nascar, and his beloved Detroit Red Wings.  In keeping with Rob's wishes, Donna requests that during the visitation periods, and the day of the funeral service, the clothing attire remains "CASUAL".  It is what Rob would have wanted.  Visitation will take place at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Wednesday August 12, 2009 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm.  Funeral Service Thusday August 13, 2009 at 10:00 in the Windsor Chapel.  Rev Bruce Arthur officiating.  Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to and education fund being put into place to assist Rob's daughters, or to the M.S. Society.  Online condolences and shared memories may be submitted at
