Billy Floyd Brown

Billy Floyd Brown was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on August 7, 1935 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the age of 74 years.

Billy was the son of Floyd James and Sylvia (Wilson) Brown.  Billy was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma all of his life.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma and was a retired Newspaper Publisher.  He married Alice Faye Weaver in Bristow, Oklahoma on February 27, 1956,  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters.  Survivors include, Wife, Alice Faye of the home, One Son & Daughter in Law, Mike and Alicia Brown of Stroud, OK, One Daughter & Son in Law, Terri and Dave McCullough of Owasso, OK, Four Grandchildren, Christopher Michael Norton, Misty Michelle Brown, Tiffany Lynn Brown and Kirsten Marie McCullough, Two Great Grandchildren, Devon Norton and Caerdwean "Tu Tu" Norton.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Burl Mackey officiating.  Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
