Esther Louise (Jacobs) Burkette  Esther Burkette, born in Puyallup, WA on July 28, 1916, died in Auburn, WA on May 24, 2010 at age 93.  Esther was preceded in death by her parents Claude V. and Maude (Walker) Jacobs, husband Arthur R. Burkette, brother Edmund "Bud" Jacobs, and sister Marianne Cooley.  She is survived by son Art Jr. "Bud" and Cindy Burkette, daughter Judy and Marv Omey, 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Viewing will be held at Hill Funeral Home in Puyallup on Fri., June 4, 2010 from 10:00AM - 12:30PM.  Graveside service will also be on Friday, at 1:00PM at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup.  Reception will follow.  Arrangments by Hill Funeral Home, 253-845-1172.
