OBITUARY - TERESA SLAWSON CLARK
March 1, 1970 - November 6, 2010

Teresa, daughter of Beverly YOUNG SLAWSON and Edward SLAWSON, was born March 1, 1970 in Amarillo, Texas.  Teresa worked a variety of jobs including construction.  After a serious car accident, Teresa was more of a stay-at-home mom and wife.  She did volunteer work at the Neighborhood Center in Mount Ayr.

Teresa married Douglas Harl CLARK on December 11, 2008 and after living in Decatur county, they moved to Mount Ayr in 2009.  Teresa enjoyed living in Mount Ayr and getting to know her neighbors.  She was a good mother and wife and worked at keeping a clean and good home.

Teresa died suddenly at her home in Mount Ayr on November 6, 2010.  She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas CLARK, son, Morgan Wensel and mother, Beverly CARROLL, all of Mount Ayr, Iowa; two brothers, Paul SAWYER of California and Mark SAWYER of Texas, and other relatives and friends.

A memorial fund has been established to the family.

Services will be held at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr Saturday, November 13, 2010, at 2 p.m.  Rev. Chris CONKLIN will officiate.  Musical selections will be "Amazing Grace," "Stand By Me," "The Dance" and "Unanswered Prayers."

Honorary pallbearers include Leonard CLARK, Brian JOHNSON, David VANDERJAGT, Kenny JONES, J. R. SINCLAIR and Dwayne CLARK.
