James Marion Cox, Jr. Riverside County Record, The - September 23, 2010
A celebration of life for James "Jim" M. Cox, Jr. was held September 15 in Lake Havasu City. Mr. Cox died September 9. He was 71. Mr. Cox retired from the Jurupa Parks and Recreation District as a maintenance supervisor. He loved going fishing, frequenting his favorite casinos and playing cards with family and friends. He enjoyed many barbecues and especially loved to travel across the states to visit the grandchildren. Mr. Cox is survived by his wife of 50 years, Selma; his sons, James III, John (Susan); his daughters, Chris Whitehead and Tracey (Jay) Longest; his mother, Lucille Scott; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
