Robert D. Lynch Dallas Morning News, The, December 5, 2010
Lynch, Robert R.D. (Bob) Lynch passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2010 after a long battle with kidney cancer. He will be remembered by friends and family for his sense of humor, his kind nature and his love of family. Born October 30, 1927 in Eastland, Texas, Bob grew up in west Texas where he met and married his wife Gerry, and founded a nationally recognized property tax consulting business. Bob relocated to Dallas in 1966 where he enjoyed SMU football, breeding and racing quarter horses, hunting and fishing, golf and running one of the first ostrich operations in North Texas. Bob was a cherished spouse, a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and a devoted friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gerry, children Cindy (and Jim) Moeller, Mike Lynch, and Julie (and Roger) Sanders. Grandchildren Cody Lee, Kyle Lee, Ashley (and Jeremy) Brown, Russell (and Courtney) Sanders, Jeremy Moeller and Greg Moeller. Bob will be missed, but never forgotten. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Reformed Church in Plano.
